4-hour course will give participants the information needed to train
employees in basic fall protection from heights. Topics covered include
fall protection principles, components of arrest systems, equipment
limitations, and review of OSHA standards for both 1910 General Industry
and 1926 Construction. Participants will further learn training tips and
techniques meant to help employees understand and apply learned concepts

face many hazards on the job. Improperly grounded electrical circuits
can result in injuries, fires, equipment damage, and could very likely
result in an OSHA inspection and costly fines. Poorly designed haphazard
modifications to electrical systems may jeopardize the delivery of goods
or services and ruin your business. Case studies along with examples of
equipment and procedures designed to help workers understand the basics
of electrical safety will be included in this 4-hour safety course.

This
four-hour program is designed to meet OSHA training requirements
(Standard 1910.178) for operators of powered industrial trucks,
classroom requirements only. It includes a review of regulatory OSHA
standards, safe vehicle operation, maintenance and protection of
personnel, operators and property as well as a segment on pedestrian
safety. Upon completion of this class, employers are encouraged to
complete the on-site, hands on portion of the training at their
respective facilities.

two-day course is designed to provide participants with basic
information on how to comply with OSHA general industry standards.
Participants will understand employer/employee rights and
responsibilities under the Occupational Safety and Health Act, learn how
OSHA inspections are conducted, identify OSHA expectations for your
safety and health programs, identify key provisions of the ten most
often cited standards, and get up-to-date on the latest changes to OSHA

course is designed for construction workers, foremen and job
supervisors. The training program provides workers general awareness on
recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site and covers a
variety of construction safety and health hazards. Workers must
receive additional training on hazards specific to their jobs, such as
fall protection, scaffolding, etc. Training emphasizes hazard
identification, avoidance, control and prevention. Instructor: Todd

workshop is designed to help participants better understand the
requirements and importance of OSHA Standard 1910.147. This training
program reviews the purpose for using proper lockout/tagout procedures
by helping identify dangers associated with energized equipment, when
and how to lockout/tagout equipment, required employee training,

HAZMAT/HAZWOPER
8-HOUR REFRESHER

The
HAZMAT 8-hour Refresher course is meant for HAZMAT/HAZWOPER personnel
who have previously completed a 24- or 40-hour course and are required
to have eight hours of annual refresher training. This program
meets the needs of employees that must be updated on HAZMAT information
and skills covering topics such as: laws and regulations, health
hazards, references, operations, personal protection equipment, and
decontamination. Instructor: Environmental Training Services
ON-SITE TRAINING
Upon request, the Council can provide on-site training,
including
lift truck operator
training, 2-hour lift truck refresher
and
2 1/2 hour defensive driver training.
These
courses can be tailored to fit your company’s needs. We
can also take the stress out of
scheduling trainers on a variety of topics at your

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations for any class must be made
at least three business days prior to the course; substitutions will be
accepted. Those registered but not attending will be billed at the full
cost of the course; late cancellations will be billed at half the cost
of the course.
